Peter: Alright, so this is Psalms 13. It starts off by asking God, "How long will you forget me?" and then goes on to say, "How long will you hide your face from me?"

Lois: Oh yeah, I can totally relate to that. It's like when I forget to put the milk back in the fridge after I've used it.

Brian: Yeah, that's definitely not a good feeling. But then again, it's nothing like being forgotten by God.

Stewie: Yeah, although I guess God forgetting you would be kind of like when I forget my lines in a play. I remember it happening in "Bringing Up Baby Stewie," that one time.

Chris: Yeah, that was a real bummer.

Peter: Alright, so then it talks about how the Psalmist's enemies are taunting him and he's getting depressed. He's asking God to shine His face on him and give him joy.

Lois: That's like when you feel like you don't have anyone on your side and you just need a little boost of motivation.

Brian: Yeah, like when you don't want to do the dishes but you really need to do them.

Stewie: Or when you don't want to go to the gym but you know it's for your own good.

Chris: Yeah, that's like when I don't want to do my math homework but I know I have to.

Peter: So then the Psalmist is confident that God will hear his prayer and he will be happy again. He trusts that God will save him and he will sing for joy.

Lois: That's like when you've been feeling down but then you finally get the motivation to do something and you feel so much better.

Brian: Yeah, like when you finally finish that project you've been procrastinating on or when you finally clean the house.

Stewie: Or when you finally get the courage to talk to that cute girl.

Chris: Yeah, that's like when I finally get the courage to talk to a teacher about a problem I'm having.

Peter: Yeah, so the Psalmist is confident that God will save him and then he will be able to sing for joy.
