Peter: Alright everyone, let's talk about Psalms 25. The chapter starts with David praying to the Lord and asking for guidance. He says he trusts the Lord and that he needs his help.
Lois: Ugh, why can't he just get his act together?
Brian: Ooh, I know, he's like that guy from the Las Vegas episode of Westworld, always praying for help but never actually doing anything about it.
Stewie: That's not exactly fair, considering David's situation. He's surrounded by enemies and needs God's help to get through it.
Peter: Yeah, and then he says he's devoted to the Lord and asks him to teach him to live according to his statutes.
Lois: Ugh, why can't he just read a self-help book like everyone else?
Brian: Hey, I think he's asking for more than just a self-help book. He's looking for something bigger in life.
Stewie: And then he asks the Lord to remember his mercy and love, and to think about how he's been faithful to the Lord throughout his life.
Peter: Yeah, and then he says that he's been humbled by his enemies, and he's asking God to lead him in the right direction.
Lois: Like a GPS?
Brian: Yeah, I guess you could say that. He's asking for help finding his way in life.
Stewie: Then he says he's been waiting for the Lord to save him, and he asks God to forgive him and show him his mercy.
Peter: Yeah, and then he says he trusts the Lord to save him and keep him safe.
