Peter: Alright, so this is Esther 1. So, King Ahasuerus throws a big fancy party, and everyone is having a blast. Lois: Yeah, they're drinking wine, partying and dancing. Stewie: Just like the cast of Jersey Shore! →

Peter: Alright, so in Esther 2, the King's servant, Mordecai, is still in charge of the royal harem. He's still trying to find a new queen for the King, so he scours the land for the best and most beautiful women. →

Peter: Okay, so in Esther 3, this dude Haman gets all butt-hurt because Mordecai won't bow down to him, so he comes up with a plan. He's like, "Lemme get the King to issue a decree that all the Jews in the kingdom will be killed, which will solve my Mordecai problem. →

Peter: Okay, so in Esther 4, Mordecai is really bummed out about being persecuted for his religion, and he starts wearing sackcloth and ash. Lois: Oh, like when Peter got banned from the library in that one episode? →

1-14. Lois: Oh, hi Peter. I'm just reading Esther 5. It's about Esther and her cousin Mordecai getting ready to appear before King Ahasuerus. Peter: You know, Mordecai reminds me of that one guy from the movie, The Matrix. →

Peter: Alright, so what do we got for Esther 6? Lois: OK, so it starts out with King Ahasuerus being unable to sleep, so he has his servants bring out the book of records of the chronicles to read. Brian: Boring! Can we make any references to more exciting pop culture stuff? →

Peter: Alright, so this chapter starts with King Ahasuerus throwing a big banquet for Esther and all the court officials. Meg: But why? Peter: Uh, because he was so happy that Esther was the queen. Meg: But why was he so happy? Peter: Well, he was proud that he found her, I guess. →

[Peter] So Esther chapter 8. You know what that means? It's the chapter where the king gives Esther's people the right to defend themselves against those bad guys! [Brian] Wait, what? Are we still talking about the Bible? →

Peter: Alright, so here's what happened in Esther 9. Lois: Oh great... Peter: So, Esther and her people, the Jews, were being persecuted by the bad guy, Haman, who wanted to get rid of all the Jews. But, Esther asked the King to help, and he did! →

Peter: "All right, if we're gonna recap Esther 10, I'm gonna do it in my best Peter Griffin voice. So, Esther 10 starts out with King Xerxes honoring Mordecai for saving his life by giving him land, money, and lots of other stuff. →
