• Chapter 1

    Well folks, in Esther 1, we meet King Ahasuerus, who throws an epic 180-day party for all the nobles in his kingdom. But then, when the party's over, he orders his wife, Queen Vashti, to come show off her beauty in front of the partygoers.

  • Chapter 2

    Well, folks, it's been a while since we've heard from Esther and her crew, but they're back in Esther 2. This time, old King Xerxes is feeling lonely and decides to get himself a new wife. He holds a beauty pageant and Esther ends up winning, becoming the new queen.

  • Chapter 3

    So, according to Esther 3, we've got King Ahasuerus promoting his number one bro, Haman. Now, he gives Haman authority to kill anyone he wants. Now, Haman notices that the Jews aren't really down with his program, and so he decides to kill all of them.

  • Chapter 4

    Well, Esther 4: the situation is getting dire in this chapter. The Jews are in danger and what do they do? They fast. Yeah, that'll help. Mordecai sends a message to Esther begging her to intercede with the king on their behalf.

  • Chapter 5

    Well, it's been a wild ride so far in Esther, but here we are at Chapter 5. Things are getting intense. Esther has thrown a banquet, and the King and Haman show up. The King is feeling generous and offers Esther anything she wants, and she asks for her life and the life of her people.

  • Chapter 6

    Well, well, well, what do we have here? In Esther 6, King Ahasuerus is not having the best night ever. His queen, Esther, has been ignoring him and he's pretty miffed about it. So, he decides to take matters into his own hands and orders his servants to bring out his royal crown, which he then presents to his right-hand man, Haman.

  • Chapter 7

    Well, folks, it looks like Esther 7 is full of drama. King Ahasuerus is throwing a banquet for all his courtiers and attendants, but his favorite wife, Queen Vashti, isn't there. So the king gets drunk and starts talking about his favorite wife, who he banished for not obeying him.

  • Chapter 8

    Well, folks, it's a big day for Esther in Esther 8. She's just been given the go-ahead from King Xerxes to issue a decree that all Jews in the land can defend themselves against their enemies. Yeah, it's about time! It's like Xerxes just realized that the Jews were people, too.

  • Chapter 9

    So folks, in Esther 9, we have the Queen getting her revenge. She's not one to be trifled with, as she gathered her people and demanded justice. She was so mad that the king gave in to her every demand, even agreeing to let her hang the evil dudes that had tried to kill her and her people.

  • Chapter 10

    "Well, this week on Esther, things are really looking up for Mordecai - he's been made the ruler of Persia and Media, and is pretty much the most important dude around! He's also made sure that all Jews throughout the kingdom are respected and honored - which was a pretty impressive feat.
