Well, well, well, what do we have here? In Esther 6, King Ahasuerus is not having the best night ever. His queen, Esther, has been ignoring him and he's pretty miffed about it. So, he decides to take matters into his own hands and orders his servants to bring out his royal crown, which he then presents to his right-hand man, Haman. But wait, it gets worse! The king also orders Haman to lead a parade to honor Esther's uncle, Mordecai. Yeah, that's gonna go over real well with the queen. It's a classic case of, "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em". But hey, at least the king gets to sleep in the same bed as Esther that night! So that's a win, right?
