• Chapter 1

    Well, folks, it's time to dive into the good book. In Daniel 1, we meet Daniel and his three friends in Babylon. They're forced to eat food from the king's table, but Daniel decides to eat only vegetables and drink only water instead.

    Alright, folks, Daniel 2: it's the story of King Nebuchadnezzar, who has a dream so strange he can't remember it. So he calls all of his wise men together and tells them to not only tell him what his dream was, but to interpret it.

    Well, well, well. What do we have here? Daniel 5. It's a real doozy. King Belshazzar of Babylon is throwing a fancy feast and bringing in the sacred vessels of the temple. So far, so good. But then, all of a sudden, a disembodied hand appears and starts writing on the wall.

    Well, folks, it's been another wild chapter in the Bible. This time, we've got Daniel 6. So, King Darius decides to set up some new rules that are pretty terrible for Daniel. But, of course, Daniel faithfully follows the Lord, so he's not following the new rule.

  • Chapter 7

    Well, folks, it's time for the book of Daniel, and this week we're on chapter 7. So, in this one, Daniel has a dream about four animals and then he wakes up and—surprise, surprise—God gives him the interpretation.

  • Chapter 8

    So, Daniel 8: There's a dream, and then an interpretation. It's all about a ram, a goat, and a little horn. The ram has two horns and the goat has one, and the little horn is the villain. It's kinda like The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, if the good was a ram, the bad was a goat, and the ugly was a little horn.

    Good evening, I'm Norm MacDonald here with your update on Daniel 9. It's a real doozy. So, Daniel is praying and confessing the sins of the Israelites, asking God to restore the city of Jerusalem. Then he has a vision of an angel Gabriel who tells him that Jerusalem will be restored in 70 weeks.

    Well folks, it's been a wild ride in Daniel 10. Our hero Daniel, who's been fasting and praying for 21 days, is visited by an angel in a vision. He's told that the angel's been fighting with the 'Prince of Persia' for 21 days.

    Alright, folks, here's the rundown on Daniel 11. It's all about the future of the world, which, let's face it, always makes for a good read. We're talking about a world superpower that will make trouble for a bunch of people, but then another superpower will come in and mess things up for them.

  • Chapter 12

    Well, folks, it's been a wild ride, but we've finally reached the end of the book of Daniel. Chapter 12 starts with a big old angel showing up to tell Daniel that, at the end of all this, his people will be delivered from the world of sorrow and suffering.
