Well, well, well. What do we have here? Daniel 5. It's a real doozy. King Belshazzar of Babylon is throwing a fancy feast and bringing in the sacred vessels of the temple. So far, so good. But then, all of a sudden, a disembodied hand appears and starts writing on the wall. And what does it say? "MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN." Basically, Belshazzar is doomed. So Daniel, being the wise man that he is, steps in and interprets the writing. He says that Belshazzar has been weighed in the balances and found wanting. That night, Belshazzar is killed and Darius the Mede takes over the throne. The moral of the story is, don't mess with sacred vessels.
