Hey, you know that book, the Bible? Well, this is 1 Thessalonians 1, which is basically Paul talking to the church in Thessalonica about how he's been preachin' the gospel. Apparently he's been saying some pretty wild stuff, like how Jesus died and rose again and stuff. →

Well, it's time for another installment of Bible Update. This week, we've got 1 Thessalonians 2. Now, if you're like me, you're probably thinking, "Why Thessalonians? What did they do?" Well, according to this chapter, the Thessalonians were actually a pretty decent bunch. →

"Well, folks, looks like we're moving onto 1 Thessalonians 3. This chapter is about Paul's desire for the Thessalonians to remain faithful and how he sent Timothy to check up on them. He also talks a lot about how he wishes he could be there, but can't due to persecution. →

Well, folks, 1 Thessalonians 4 is all about being more chaste and not really being into the whole “fornication” thing. Paul says to avoid it and to “control” yourself. He says to treat others with respect, love each other, and keep yourselves holy. →

Well, folks, it's time for 1 Thessalonians 5! This chapter is all about how to live a good Christian life, so get ready for a lot of guilt. Paul starts off by telling us to stay away from evil, and then starts talking a lot about being prepared. →
