Well, folks, it's time for a chapter from the Bible and this one's from Hosea 5. So, what happens? Well, God is not happy with the people of Israel and the priests of Bethel. He says he's going to punish them for their wickedness. →

Alright, folks, let's check out Hosea 6. Alright, so it starts off with the people of Israel crying out for God to show them mercy. But then, get this, God says to them that even though He does love them, He's gonna have to punish them for their sins. →

So, Hosea 7. Here's the deal: Israel has been acting like a bunch of naughty children and God is really not happy. He's like, "They do not acknowledge me! They keep on sinning! I'm so mad, I'm gonna have to punish them". →

Alright, so in Hosea 8, God's all like, "Hey Israel, I remember when you first asked me to be your God and that was cool and all. But now you've been sacrificing to your idols and neglecting me, so I'm not happy. →

Well, Hosea 9 is a real doozy. God is really mad at the people of Israel for worshiping other gods and not living up to the covenant. So he tells them to eat and drink but not enjoy it, because he's gonna make them an object lesson for the world. →

Well, folks, in the book of Hosea, Chapter 13, God's really had enough of the Israelites. He says they've turned their backs on him and are worshiping idols instead. He says their sin has made them like a wild donkey, and he's going to punish them for it. →

Hosea 14: The people of Israel are in a bad way. They've turned away from God and they're really reaping what they've sown. God promises to forgive them, but only if they repent and turn back to Him. And if they do, He'll make them like a tree planted by a river, with lots of foliage and fruit. →
