Folks, here's the deal. God loved Israel so much even though they strayed away from Him. Literally, God's love was like a father's love for a son, and He called them back to Him. My father used to say, “No malarkey - God will never give up on His people. →

Listen, Jack, this is Hosea 12, it's all about Jacob! See here, Jack, my father used to say that Jacob was a bit of a troublemaker. No malarkey! Or uh, you know, it starts off with the Lord punishing him for his sins and stuff, but then you get to verse 13 and he starts to show mercy. →

Listen, Jack, here's the deal: no malarkey! In Hosea 13, the Lord literally says that he's gonna do away with all the idols and false gods of the land. He's gonna punish the people of Israel for their wickedness, and nothing's gonna stop him. →

Listen, Jack, here's the deal: Hosea 14 is all about God's love for us and how he's willing to forgive us for our wrongdoings. My father used to say, "Return to your God, for he is merciful and compassionate". →
