• Chapter 1

    1-11. Folks! See here, Jack, I'm gonna tell you about Acts 1. C'mon, man! This is the story of Jesus ascending to Heaven and the Holy Spirit descending upon the apostles. Listen, Jack, it's a wild ride! So, uh, you know, Jesus instructed the apostles to stay in Jerusalem until they received the Holy Spirit.

  • Chapter 2

    Folks, I'm telling you, I'm not joking around, see here, Jack: Acts 2 is about those twelve Apostles. C'mon, man! What was that? They were given the power to speak in other languages, literally! And so Peter stands up and starts preaching to the crowds.

  • Chapter 3

    C'mon, man! Listen, Jack, here's the deal. In Acts Chapter 3, Peter and John are literally coming down from the Temple and they see this lame dude out begging for alms. My father used to say "help those in need", so Peter and John stop and Peter says "Look at us!" See here, Jack, I'm not joking – Peter says "Silver and gold have I none, but such as I have give I to thee.

  • Chapter 4

    Listen, Jack, here we go. Folks, we've got the story in Acts 4 of Peter and John being brought before the Sanhedrin. Now, c'mon man, they had healed a crippled man and were accused of doing it in the name of Jesus, but the two of them stood up for their beliefs and faced the Sanhedrin with courage.

  • Chapter 5

    C'mon, man! Listen, Jack, here's the deal. Folks, Acts 5 - no malarkey! - is all about something that happened in the early church. My father used to say, "You gotta stand up for the truth, even when it's hard.

  • Chapter 6

    Listen, Jack, here's the deal: in Acts 6 we got these folks called deacons that were appointed by the apostles to serve tables. No malarkey! My father used to say, "If you can't serve the tables, you can't serve the Lord.

  • Chapter 7

    Folks, here's the deal: I'm gonna tell you about what happened in Acts 7. My father used to say that the Bible is a real page-turner and this chapter is no exception. Stephen, a man full of faith, was brought before the Jewish Council.

  • Chapter 8

    Folks! Here's the deal. Acts 8 is all about spreading the good news of what Jesus had done. This Philip guy, he was one of the first evangelists, he was out there sharing the news with everybody he could.

  • Chapter 9

    Listen, Jack, here's the deal. Saul was on his way to Damascus and he saw a bright light from heaven. Literally, it was brighter than the sun. C'mon, man, it was so bright he had to be led by the hand to the city.

  • Chapter 10

    Listen, Jack, I'm not joking when I tell you what, Acts 10 is full of malarkey! C'mon, man! Here's the deal - it starts off with this guy, Peter, and he's having a dream. And no, I'm not talking about a dream he had last night - I'm talking about one he had "literally" two thousand years ago! So he's in this dream and he sees all these animals, and God is telling him to not be afraid, and to eat them.

  • Chapter 11

    Folks, here's the deal. A long time ago, in Acts 11, the Lord told some disciples to go to a place called Cornelius, and the Lord showed them a vision. Excuse me, literally, no malarkey! Anyway, the Lord told them to go to Cornelius, and when they got there, Cornelius was expecting them.

  • Chapter 12

    Folks, here's the deal. We're talking about Acts 12 and, man, it's crazy. I'm not joking, see here, Jack, what was that? Peter, he was literally thrown in jail, c'mon man, but then this angel appears out of nowhere, and he's like, "Pete, git up, you gotta get outta here!" And the angel, he hits the jail door with a big stick and the door opens up and Peter's free! No malarkey! My father used to say, "Biden, I tell ya what, miracles happen.

  • Chapter 13

    Folks, I'm gonna tell ya a story about a group of folks who did some amazing things. So, here's the deal - in Acts 13, there were two dudes, Paul and Barnabas, who were sent by the Holy Spirit and they went on a mission to spread the Gospel.

  • Chapter 14

    Folks, here's the deal: In Acts 14, Paul and Barnabas were in the town of Lystra. They were preaching the gospel, and a man who had been lame since birth suddenly began to walk. The people of Lystra thought they were gods and wanted to offer sacrifices to them, but Paul and Barnabas stopped them.

  • Chapter 15

    Listen, Jack, here's the deal. Paul and Barnabas had a disagreement about whether new believers should be circumcised according to the Law of Moses or not. The disagreement got so heated that they decided to take it to the Apostles and Elders in Jerusalem to see what their decision would be.

  • Chapter 16

    C'mon, Man! I'm not joking, folks! Here's the deal - in Acts 16, Paul and Silas travel to Philippi, where they encounter a slave girl who has a spirit of divination. Paul casts out the spirit, and her owners become angry because they lost their source of income.

  • Chapter 17

    Folks, here's the deal: Paul and Silas had been travelling around the Mediterranean, and they ended up in Athens. Now, this is a place that was literally full of idols and temples, and Paul was shocked.

  • Chapter 18

    Listen, Jack, folks, here's the deal: Paul is in Corinth, and he's teaching in a synagogue. He's preaching the word of God, and the people are listening. But then there's some Jews who don't like what he's saying, so they start to argue.

  • Chapter 19

    "Listen, Jack, Paul was still in Ephesus when these twelve disciples came to him. They had only been baptized in John's baptism, but they had never heard of the Holy Spirit. Folks, Paul asked them if they had ever received the Holy Spirit, and they said no.

  • Chapter 20

    Listen, Jack, c'mon man, I'm tellin' ya, this chapter of the Bible is something else. Here's the deal: Paul was at Miletus and gathered the elders of the church of Ephesus to say his goodbyes. He literally went over what he had been through, how he had served the Lord, and how he had put himself at risk.

  • Chapter 21

    Listen, Jack, here's the deal, literally: In Acts 21, Paul and his companions traveled to Jerusalem. On the way, they stopped in Caesarea to visit with Philip the Evangelist and his four daughters, who were all prophetesses.

  • Chapter 22

    Listen, Jack, here's the deal. Paul is in Jerusalem, and he's been arrested by the Romans. Now, he's standing before a big crowd and he's telling them his story. He's telling them that he was a devout Jew, c'mon, man, and that he followed the Law of Moses.

  • Chapter 23

    Listen, Jack, here's the deal: Paul had been arrested in Jerusalem and the Jews were trying to have him killed. So he was taken to the fortress of Antonia and the commander of the Roman troops had to step in.

  • Chapter 24

    Listen, Jack, here's the deal. I'm not joking - no malarkey! In Acts 24, Paul stands before Felix the governor. Paul explains to him why he's innocent of any wrong-doing and why he was brought before him in the first place.

  • Chapter 25

    23-27. C'mon, man! See here, Jack - I tell you what, this is some serious stuff we got going on here in the Bible. So, Acts 25:23-27 - excuse me, folks - we got Paul standing before Festus, and the King Agrippa - two of the most powerful men in the Roman Empire.

  • Chapter 26

    C'mon, man! Listen, Jack, here's the deal: in Acts 26 we see a lot of folks getting real worked up about Paul's preaching. Literally, Paul was a wild card and everyone was trying to figure out what was that? See here, Jack, Paul gets a vision from the Lord, and he's like, "or uh, you know, I'm gonna follow this path, no malarkey!" My father used to say that Paul was a man of his word, and I'm not joking when I say he followed the Lord's will.

  • Chapter 27

    Hey, folks! Listen, Jack, c'mon man! I'm tellin' ya, I ain't even kiddin' when I say this story of Acts 27 is a doozy. See here, Jack: Apostle Paul and his crew were stuck on this boat, literally, and it was a long voyage.

  • Chapter 28

    Listen, Jack, it's been quite the journey throughout the Book of Acts, but here we are at the end. Excuse me, but I'm not joking when I say the last chapter is quite the tale. No malarkey, folks. The chapter starts off with Paul having arrived at Rome.
