"Listen, Jack, Paul was still in Ephesus when these twelve disciples came to him. They had only been baptized in John's baptism, but they had never heard of the Holy Spirit. Folks, Paul asked them if they had ever received the Holy Spirit, and they said no. So Paul laid his hands on them, and the Holy Spirit came on them! Now, I'm not joking here, but I tell you what, these disciples spoke in tongues and prophesied. My father used to say, 'The power of the Lord is strong!' C'mon, man, it was literally amazing.

But then, uh, you know, some of the people in Ephesus started to believe in the Lord too, and miraculously, Paul's handkerchiefs and aprons were used to heal people. See here, Jack, it was like something out of a movie! And then, after that, seven sons of a Jewish chief priest tried to cast out evil spirits and the evil spirit said, 'Jesus I know, and Paul I know, but who are you?' What was that? Not gonna happen, the evil spirit didn't obey them. Excuse me, but this is the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. No malarkey, here's the deal - when the people of Ephesus heard about this, they were all amazed and believed in the Lord."
