    Folks, I'm tellin' ya, you can't get any better than Joshua 1. C'mon, man! My father used to say that if you want to be successful, you gotta be like Joshua. That guy was like a superhero. He was anointed by God to lead the Israelites, see here, Jack? So the Lord tells Joshua to be strong and courageous and he'll give him the land of Canaan.

    Hey, folks! Listen, Jack, Joshua 2 is about God's people, and it's one of the best chapters in the Bible. Literally, it's a story about how God's people can overcome any obstacle. Here's the deal: Joshua sends two spies to Jericho, and they end up in the house of Rahab, a prostitute.

    Hey, folks, here's the deal - Joshua 3 is a story about God's people crossing the Jordan. Literally, the waters of the Jordan River stopped flowing when the priests carrying the ark of the covenant stepped into the river, and God's people walked across on dry land.

  • Chapter 4

    Folks, here's the deal. This is the chapter of Joshua where the Lord tells him to have the people of Israel take twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan River and carry them with them to the place where they'll camp.

  • Chapter 5

    Folks, I'm telling you, it's been a long time since the Israelites crossed the Jordan River and set up camp in the Promised Land, and they've been working hard ever since. Now, here's the deal: it's time for the Lord to give them a sign of His favor.

  • Chapter 6

    Folks, I'm not gonna lie to ya, I'm gonna give it to you straight: Joshua 6 is not a chapter you want to miss. Here's the deal, see - Joshua and the Israelites had a mighty task ahead of them. They had to take the city of Jericho, and it was not gonna be easy.

  • Chapter 7

    Folks, here's the deal. Joshua and the Israelites were on a roll. Literally, they had just conquered Jericho and they were feeling themselves. So, they decided to take on the city of Ai. "C'mon, man!", they thought, "how hard can it be?" Well, they were wrong.

  • Chapter 8

    Folks, here's the deal: Joshua was a righteous man, c'mon man, he was literally the bravest man around. I tell you what, he was the leader of the Israelites and it was his job to take the city of Ai. No malarkey.

  • Chapter 9

    Folks, it happened a long time ago, but I'm telling you, this story is as true as true can be. Joshua and the Israelites were about to enter the Promised Land, and they were doing their due diligence to make sure that their enemies weren't lying in wait.

  • Chapter 10

    Folks, let me tell you what happened in Joshua 10. So, no malarkey, you know, the Israelites were facing a big problem. They were outnumbered five to one by these kings, see here. And my father used to say, "You can't beat those kind of odds, Jack".

  • Chapter 11

    Folks, here's the deal: Joshua and the Israelites are in the land of Canaan, and they just defeated the King of Hazor. It's time to take down the rest of the kings in the region. So Joshua is like, "C'mon, man, let's do it!" All the kings in the area come together and fight against Joshua.

  • Chapter 12

    Hey, folks! Here's the deal with Joshua 12: Listen, Jack, I'm not joking-- this chapter is literally all about the kings that Joshua and the people of Israel conquered in Canaan. I tell you what-- these kings were not gonna take it lying down! My father used to say, "Never mess with a king, son!" See here, Jack-- there was King of Jerusalem, King of Hebron, King of Jarmuth, King of Lachish, King of Eglon, King of Gezer, King of Debir, King of Geder, King of Hormah, King of Arad, King of Libnah, King of Adullam, King of Makkedah, King of Bethel, King of Tappuah, King of Hepher, King of Aphek, King of Lasharon, King of Madon, King of Hazor, King of Shimron-meron, King of Achshaph, King of Taanach, King of Megiddo, King of Kedesh, King of Jokneam in Carmel, King of Dor in Naphath-dor, King of Goiim in Gilgal, and King of Tirzah.

  • Chapter 13

    Listen, Jack. Here's the deal. It's been a long time since Joshua was appointed leader of the Israelites, and he's still got a lot of work to do. He's got to divide up the land that God has promised them.

  • Chapter 14

    Listen, Jack, here's the deal, excuse me. Joshua and Caleb, two of the original spies sent to scout out the Promised Land, have been rewarded for their faith in God's plan by being given their own lands.

  • Chapter 15

    "Listen, Jack, my father used to say 'don't forget the borders of the tribe of Judah' and that's exactly what we're gonna do here, no malarkey! See here, Jack, Joshua 15 talks about the borders of the tribe of Judah and it gets very specific.

  • Chapter 16

    Listen, Jack, no malarkey! Here's the deal: Joshua 16 is all about the land that the Lord is giving to the half-tribe of Manasseh. They get a huge chunk of land that's east of the Jordan River, with some of the tribal boundaries given in detail.

  • Chapter 17

    Listen, Jack, here's the deal. Joshua 17 is about the allotment of land for the children of Joseph, who have two tribes - Manasseh and Ephraim. My father used to say that when it comes to land, you gotta make sure you got your fair share.

  • Chapter 18

    "Folks, here's the deal. Joshua chapter 18 is all about how the tribes of Israel had to carve up the land of Canaan. They had to draw lots, literally, just like my father used to say. See here, Jack, this was a huge deal for them, and not gonna happen overnight.

  • Chapter 19

    Folks, I'm telling you, Joshua 19 was an amazing chapter! Now, my father used to say, "Biden, you should always pay attention to the land divisions," and I'm not joking, that's what Joshua 19 is all about.

  • Chapter 20

    C'mon, man! We're talking about Joshua chapter 20. Listen, Jack, here's the deal: if you're taking refuge from a crime you committed and some dude wants to avenge the crime, you ain't gonna be protected by the law.

  • Chapter 21

    Listen, Jack, I'm not gonna tell you no malarkey, folks, but you wanna hear a great story? Here's the deal, Joshua 21 -- literally, it's a story about God keeping His promises. My father used to say, "God's word is His bond" -- well, I'm not joking, He kept His promise here.

  • Chapter 22

    Listen, Jack, here's the deal. Joshua 22 is all about the two and a half tribes that stayed on the other side of the Jordan. Well, they thought the rest of the Israelites were gonna forget about them, but Joshua had no interest in that.

  • Chapter 23

    Hey, folks! Listen, Jack, here's the deal. It's a long time ago, but I'm not joking, this is a big deal. In Joshua 23, God is telling the people of Israel to be strong and faithful, literally. He's saying, c'mon, man, don't forget what I've done for you, and don't worship any other gods.

  • Chapter 24

    Folks, here's the deal - Joshua 24 is about making a covenant with God, and it's no malarkey. My father used to say, "If you wanna be blessed, make a covenant with the Lord". See here, Jack, it says in verse 15 that if we choose to serve other gods, then there's gonna be trouble.
