Listen, Jack. Here's the deal. It's been a long time since Joshua was appointed leader of the Israelites, and he's still got a lot of work to do. He's got to divide up the land that God has promised them. So he's called together the tribes of Reuben, Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh to lay out the boundaries. He tells the tribes to start in the north, east and south. And then he gives them a little pep talk to get them going. "C'mon, man! You can do this! You've got the power of God behind you!" My father used to say, "One man's faith can move mountains," and that's exactly what these three tribes are gonna do. They'll move mountains if they have to. All the land from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea is theirs for the taking. No malarkey! They just have to keep the promise and put their faith in God. See here, Jack, I tell you what -- not gonna happen that they forget who they are. They're the chosen people of God, and they're gonna have to fight for it. Excuse me, but this is literally a life-or-death situation. They've got to be brave, they've got to be strong, and most of all, they've got to trust God. That's what was that. Or uh, you know, not gonna happen.
