Hey, folks! Listen, Jack, Joshua 2 is about God's people, and it's one of the best chapters in the Bible. Literally, it's a story about how God's people can overcome any obstacle.

Here's the deal: Joshua sends two spies to Jericho, and they end up in the house of Rahab, a prostitute. Yup, you heard me right, a prostitute. No malarkey! But Rahab helps the spies and hides them, so they can report back to Joshua.

My father used to say that you can learn a lot in a foreign land, and that's what happens here. In Jericho, the spies hear about how scared the people are of the Israelites. I'm not joking - they literally start to tremble in their sandals.

See here, Jack, Rahab is so thankful for the spies' help, she begs them to save her family when the Israelites attack. They agree, and tell her to put a red rope in her window so they'll know which house to save.

What was that? Now, the spies go back to Joshua and tell him about the city, and Joshua knows it's time to conquer Jericho. Or, uh, you know, move in. Not gonna happen! He tells the people to march around the city once a day for six days, and then on the seventh day, they were to march around it seven times and blow their trumpets.

I tell you what, it worked! The walls of Jericho come tumblin' down. Excuse me, literally! And the Israelites take over the city.

So, that's Joshua 2. It's a great story of how God can help us in any situation, even if we don't expect it. C'mon, man!
