Folks, here's the deal: Joshua and the Israelites are in the land of Canaan, and they just defeated the King of Hazor. It's time to take down the rest of the kings in the region. So Joshua is like, "C'mon, man, let's do it!" All the kings in the area come together and fight against Joshua. But See here, Jack, Joshua and the Israelites are just too powerful for them. Literally, it's no malarkey! The Lord is with Joshua, and so Joshua wins the battle. My father used to say, "If God is with you, nothing can stand against you." I'm not joking, it's true! So Joshua and the Israelites take over the land and they divide it up among the tribes of Israel. What was that? Oh, yeah, and they destroyed all the idols in those cities. That's what the Lord commanded them to do. Or, uh, you know, the Lord was pretty serious about that. Not gonna happen - anybody worshiping idols in this land. I tell you what, it's just a great victory for Joshua and the Israelites. Excuse me, did I say great? I meant totally incredible.
