    Listen, Jack, here's the deal. We gotta go way back, folks. Deuteronomy 1 is all about the time the people of Israel were headed to the Promised Land. So, Moses is speaking to the people and he's telling them all the malarkey they gotta do to enter the Promised Land and live right.

    Listen, Jack, here's the deal. My father used to say, "No malarkey, God told us to go around the land of Edom. He said not to mess with them, so we didn't! We literally just went around them. Or uh, you know, we didn't even say 'hi' to them.

  • Chapter 3

    Listen, Jack, here's the deal: no malarkey. In Deuteronomy 3, Moses is recounting the Israelites' journey through the land of Og, King of Bashan. Og was a giant of a man, and his bed was literally 13 and a half feet long and six feet wide! Can you imagine that? My father used to say, "Nobody's bed should be that big, unless they're the King of Bashan.

    1-31. Folks, here's the deal: Deuteronomy 4 is a reminder to obey God's commandments. C'mon, man! We all know that if we follow the Lord's instructions, we'll be safe and sound. My father used to say, "Obey the Lord and you'll never go wrong".

    Folks! Here's the deal - Deuteronomy 5 is all about the Ten Commandments. No malarkey! My father used to say these commandments were the law of the land. So, c'mon, man, let's take a look. The first one is about not having any other gods before the Lord.

    Folks, here's the deal. I'm gonna say it straight: Deuteronomy 6 is packed with all the good stuff. I'm not joking. I mean, it's got it all: we got fear of the Lord, commandments, statutes, and judgments.

    Folks, here's the deal. Deuteronomy 7 is all about the Lord's chosen people. He said they are to be holy and keep His commandments. He commanded them to destroy all the idols and pagan nations, and He promised to bless them and protect them if they do.

    Folks, listen up. See here, Jack, Deuteronomy 8 is a real important chapter. Don’t you forget it, no malarkey! My father used to say, “you gotta remember what’s important in life,” and Deuteronomy 8 is part of that.

  • Chapter 9

    Folks, this is Deuteronomy 9. It's an important chapter. My father used to say, the Lord our God is a jealous God, and he's punishing the nations of Canaan for their wickedness. He's gonna make way for the Israelites to take their land.

    Folks, here's the deal: I'm not joking when I tell you that Deuteronomy 10 is a real hum-dinger of a chapter! My father used to say that it was one of the most important chapters in the Bible. See here, Jack: It says that we should love God with all of our heart, soul, and strength.

    Folks! C'mon, man, here's the deal. Deuteronomy 11 is a real doozy. My father used to say, it's all about keeping the commandments. See here, Jack, when you have a covenant with the Lord, you have to keep it.

    Folks, here's the deal--it's time to get serious about worshiping God. I'm not joking. My father used to say, "Listen, Jack, it's time to show the Lord the respect he deserves. No malarkey here. You can't go around doing whatever you want, not gonna happen.

    Listen, Jack, here's the deal. No malarkey! Back in the day, my father used to say, if you ever find someone trying to lead you away from your faith, c'mon man, don't listen. Literally. Not gonna happen.

  • Chapter 14

    Folks, Deuteronomy 14 is all about how to conduct yourself as a God-fearing Israelite. No malarkey! C'mon man, this is serious stuff. You know, my father used to say that the Lord provided the Israelites with food, and He wants them to be sure to give Him the credit.

  • Chapter 15

    Folks, I've been around a long time and I can tell you, Deuteronomy 15 is a special one. My father used to say, "Love thy neighbor as thyself" and that's right in this chapter. No malarkey! It's all about treating each other with respect and compassion.

  • Chapter 16

    Folks, here's the deal. Deuteronomy 16 is all about the Feast of Passover. Now, c'mon, man, my father used to say, you gotta celebrate this feast every year, in the right way. Literally, no malarkey. Now, uh, listen Jack, there's certain rules you gotta follow.

    Folks, here's the deal: Deuteronomy 17 is a chapter in the Bible that lays down laws for the Israelites. We gotta make sure we're following the commandments that God has set for us. No malarkey! C'mon, man.

    Listen, Jack, here's the deal: I'm not joking, folks, Deuteronomy 18 is all about a really important concept: no malarkey! We've got to honor God and the priests He set up, no ifs ands or buts about it.

    C'mon, man! Listen, Jack, here's the deal. Folks, Deuteronomy 19 is all about the cities of refuge. No malarkey! Basically, if a person killed someone, they could flee to one of these cities and have a fair trial.

  • Chapter 20

    Folks, here's the deal - Deuteronomy 20 is all about war. C'mon, man! My father used to say that when you go to battle, you should not be afraid. No malarkey! You should remember that the Lord your God is with you.

  • Chapter 21

    Folks, I'm not gonna lie to ya - Deuteronomy 21 is a tricky one. See, it's all about how to handle a situation if a dead body is found in a field, and here's the deal: if the dead body is found in a field that belongs to someone, the elders of the nearest city have to take a heifer and cut its throat.

  • Chapter 22

    Listen, Jack, this chapter is all about rules, and I'm not joking here. C'mon, man, you think I'm gonna let you off the hook on this one? Not gonna happen! My father used to say, "If you want to do it right, you gotta do it by the book" and see here, Jack, that's Deuteronomy 22!

    C'mon, man! Listen, Jack, Deuteronomy 23, here's the deal. Folks! No malarkey! This chapter deals with the laws of the land and no-nos in the camp. Literally, my father used to say if you have an issue with someone, don't take it out on their children.

  • Chapter 24

    Folks, listen, Jack. Here's the deal. Deuteronomy 24 is all about marriage, c'mon, man. My father used to say, "a man should not divorce his wife after he has married her," and that's exactly what Deuteronomy 24 teaches us.

  • Chapter 25

    Hey, folks, I'm not gonna lie to you, Deuteronomy 25 has some pretty serious stuff. My father used to tell me, if you don't read the Bible, you don't understand life, and I'm not kidding. Deuteronomy 25 starts off by telling us to be fair in court, and you know, if you give false witness, you're in trouble.

    Listen, Jack, here's the deal. Deuteronomy 26 starts off by telling us that when we come into the land that the Lord God has given us, we are to take the first of all the fruits of the ground that we harvest and put it in a basket.

  • Chapter 27

    C'mon, man! Listen, Jack, here's the deal. In Deuteronomy 27, the Lord tells Moses and the people of Israel to literally write down his commands and keep them on stones. Then, they have to stand on Mount Ebal and Gerizim and read out the commands to the people.

    "C'mon, man!, Folks, here's the deal. Deuteronomy 28 is all about blessings and curses, no malarkey! If you follow the Lord and keep his commandments, you'll be blessed in the city and the country, literally.

  • Chapter 29

    Listen, Jack, here's the deal. My father used to say that Deuteronomy 29 was all about the covenant that the Lord made with the Israelites. You see, God had brought the Israelites out of Egypt and led them through the wilderness, figuratively and literally.

  • Chapter 30

    Listen Jack, here's the deal. I'm not joking, no malarkey. My father used to say, in Deuteronomy 30, "choose life". Literally. C'mon, man! See here, Jack: It's not gonna happen if you don't choose life.

  • Chapter 31

    Folks, here's the deal: Deuteronomy 31 is all about the Lord's promise to never abandon or forsake his people. Moses, the leader of the Israelites, said that the Lord would always be with them, even when they were in the land of Canaan, a long way away from their home.

  • Chapter 32

    Listen, Jack, Deuteronomy 32 is all about the Lord being a Father to Israel. No malarkey! The Lord is the Rock, His work is perfect, and all His ways are just - literally! He is a faithful God without deceit.

  • Chapter 33

    Folks, here's the deal. My father used to say, "See here, Jack, the Lord is the one who's gonna give us the blessing. No malarkey!" And that's what Deuteronomy 33 is all about, y'all. It talks about the Lord giving Moses the blessing of the tribes of Israel.

    Folks, here's the deal. The Lord buried Moses on the mountain of Moab, across from Beth-Peor, but no one knows the exact spot to this day. See here, Jack: no malarkey, my father used to say that Moses was 120 years old when he died, and his eyes were still bright and clear.
