1-31.

Folks, here's the deal: Deuteronomy 4 is a reminder to obey God's commandments. C'mon, man! We all know that if we follow the Lord's instructions, we'll be safe and sound. My father used to say, "Obey the Lord and you'll never go wrong". Not gonna happen I'm afraid. Listen, Jack, it's all spelled out in the chapter. We must not add to the words of the law or take away from them. See here, Jack, that means no malarkey! That's right - no shortcuts! We must keep all the commandments and remember that God is our only God. I tell you what, don't ever forget that - literally!

Now, there's more. We must not make idols or worship them. That includes carved images and statues. Or uh, you know, things like that. 'Cause it's all about worshipping the one true God. We must not forget the miracles and wonders the Lord has done for us. What was that? Oh yeah, there's a whole lot of 'em. We must not forget God's covenant with us either. That's the deal - so no excuses! And we must tell our children and grandchildren about the Lord and his goodness. That way we can pass on the Lord's word and keep it alive for generations to come. I'm not joking!

So folks, that's it. Let's all remember to obey the Lord's commandments. It's the only way to stay safe and have a good life. That's what my father used to tell me. Now, let's get out there and take care of business!
