Listen, Jack, here we go. Folks, we've got the story in Acts 4 of Peter and John being brought before the Sanhedrin. Now, c'mon man, they had healed a crippled man and were accused of doing it in the name of Jesus, but the two of them stood up for their beliefs and faced the Sanhedrin with courage. No malarkey! They said that the man was healed in Jesus' name and that the only way it could have happened was through the power of Jesus. See here, Jack, the Sanhedrin were so amazed that they actually backed off and said, "What can we do to these men?". My father used to say that it takes real courage to stand up for your beliefs, and I'm not joking, these two definitely had it!

But that's not the end of it. Uh, you know, the Sanhedrin finally decided to let Peter and John go, but they warned them not to speak of Jesus anymore. And, excuse me, they obeyed and went back to their friends who welcomed them with open arms and praised God for what had happened. Literally! But here's the deal, folks, even though the Sanhedrin warned Peter and John, they still kept preaching about Jesus and nothing could stop them. Not gonna happen! I tell you what, nothing can stop someone who believes in something. Amen!
