Peter: Alright, Family, it's time for us to get into Psalms 68.

Brian: Here we go!

Lois: Oh, Peter, this is one of my favorite passages.

Peter: Alright, here we go.

Stewie: It starts off with the Lord rising up, His enemies scattering and His foes fleeing.

Brian: Like the Avengers when Thanos snapped his fingers!

Peter: Yeah, yeah, yeah, and then He ascended to His holy place in the heavens.

Stewie: But, like, it's not just a physical place, it's a spiritual one too.

Lois: That's right. Then He gave away His gifts to the poor and needy, which is totally like when I give away old clothes and furniture to Goodwill.

Peter: Right, and then He gave to the people who feared Him a throne of glory.

Brian: Like when the King of Wakanda gave the throne to T'Challa!

Lois: Wow, Brian, that was a great reference.

Peter: Alright, so then the Lord gave a great shout and the clouds opened up and He rained down His blessings.

Stewie: Like when it rains cats and dogs!

Lois: Haha, that's not what it means, Stewie.

Peter: Yeah, so then the Lord gave the people strength and the mountains skipped like rams and the little hills like lambs.

Brian: That's like when I skip to the store to get a new pair of shoes!

All: *Laughter*

Peter: And then the Lord's people rejoiced in His presence and praised Him with joy and singing.

Lois: That's beautiful.

Peter: Alright, well I think that's it for Psalms 68.

Brian: Catch ya later, Lord!
