1-12

Peter: Alright, so Psalms 26:1-12. So the first verse is: "Judge me, O Lord, for I have walked in my integrity, and I have trusted in the Lord without wavering."

Lois: So basically, the writer is asking God to judge him, because he has been faithful.

Brian: Sounds like a line from a Taylor Swift song.

Peter: *scoffs* Puh-lease. This is a religious text. It's much better than Taylor Swift.

Stewie: Alright, so what about the next verse? "Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my reins and my heart."

Lois: Okay, this verse is asking God to examine the person and prove that he is truly faithful.

Peter: Sounds like an episode of Judge Judy.

Brian: Oh, come on, Peter.

Stewie: Whatever. Moving on to verse 3: "For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth."

Lois: Okay, so this verse is saying that the person has seen God's love and has tried to live in accordance with it.

Peter: Yeah, like a scene from The Notebook.

Brian: Really, Peter? That's all you got?
