Listen, Jack! My father used to say, "Look for the faithful, and love them, not the treacherous." That's what Psalm 26 is all about. C'mon man, this is God's Word! It's a song of praise from the heart of a faithful follower of God.

He starts off by saying that he's gonna give God his full attention and devotion, no malarkey! He's gonna live his life with integrity and be as honest as he can be. He goes on to say that he's gonna make sure that he's living his life in a way that's pleasing to God, and he's not gonna let anyone turn him away from that.

See here, Jack, he's gonna make sure that he's avoiding the wicked and evil. He's literally not gonna hang out with 'em and he's not gonna share in their activities. What was that? He's gonna keep his hands clean, and not get involved in any corruption.

He's really determined to stay on the right path, or, uh, you know, he's gonna make sure that he's living a life that's pleasing to God. He's gonna keep his eyes on the prize, so to speak.

Here's the deal, he's literally gonna walk in God's truth, and he's gonna talk about all the good things that God has done for him. He's gonna praise God in the temple and in the streets. The Psalmist is literally gonna shout out about the greatness of God, and he's gonna make sure that all the people around him are hearing about the Lord.

I'm not joking, folks! He's gonna make sure that he's living a life that's pleasing to God and sharing his faith with others. That's what this Psalm is all about, and that's what God wants us to do. Not gonna happen that we forget to follow Him. I tell you what, excuse me, let's go out and share the Lord with others, shall we?
