Listen, Jack, I'm not joking, here's the deal. Psalms 7 is a prayer of David, and he's asking God to protect him from his enemies, c'mon, man! It's a pretty intense plea - he's literally begging God to keep him safe. He's brought judgement on himself, you know, so he's asking for God's mercy. He's talking about how God knows the truth, and how God is a righteous judge, and that's why he's so desperate for God to save him. So he's saying, "O Lord my God, in you I take refuge," and then he goes on to say, "Rescue me from my enemies and from those who pursue me." He's basically saying, "Save me from these people or I'm done for!" My father used to say, "God is always watching over us," and that's what David is asking for here. See here, Jack, he's asking for justice to be done, and he's saying that God will bring down those who are doing wrong. He's asking God to put an end to the evil, and to defend the rights of the righteous. What was that? He's saying, "Let the enemy be caught in the schemes that they have devised," so basically, no malarkey! He's saying, "Let the righteous be glad and rejoice in the presence of God." So basically, God is going to make sure that justice is done, and that's what David is asking for. Excuse me, folks, but this is really important - he's asking for God's protection, and he wants justice to be done. I tell you what, it's not gonna happen if we don't do something about it.
