1-19.

Folks, listen up. Here's the deal with Psalms 51, and don't let anyone give you no malarkey about it. My father used to say, "Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy loving kindness." That's the literal truth. I'm not joking. See here, Jack. This is about David, and what he done wrong. He done sinned against God, and he was asking God for forgiveness. What was that? Or uh, you know, to cleanse him from his sin. Not gonna happen unless he confesses it, I tell you what. That's what the whole chapter is about: David asking God for mercy and forgiveness. He knows he needs to be cleansed, and he knows that only God can do that. He even says, "Create in me a clean heart, O God." Excuse me. That's what he needs to get right with God. So, c'mon, man. This is a perfect example of how we should all go to God when we done wrong and ask for mercy. See, no matter how much time has passed, God still listens.
