Folks, listen here, Jack, this Psalms chapter is about giving thanks to the Lord for all the great things he does for us. My father used to say that when we give thanks for the blessings in our lives, it's like giving God a big hug. C'mon, man! And that's what this Psalm is all about. See here, Jack, it starts off by talking about how the Israelites were blessed by the Lord and how they should always remember to give thanks. It goes on to talk about how they messed up and the Lord still forgave them. It's incredible! I'm not joking.

After that, it talks about how the Lord protected the Israelites from their enemies and how he gave them a great victory over them. Then, it talks about how the Lord provided food and water in the desert and how he gave them a large and prosperous land. It also talks about how the Lord used great miracles to save them and how he protected them from their enemies.

The Psalm ends with a call to remember all the great things the Lord has done and to give thanks for them. No malarkey! Here's the deal, literally, if we don't remember the Lord's blessings and give him thanks, he won't be pleased. So, let's take a minute to give thanks for all the good things the Lord has done for us. What was that? I tell you what, it's one of the most important things we can do! Excuse me.
