Folks, listen up, c'mon man, here's the deal. Psalms 98 is all about joy and celebration. It's literally about praising God for His goodness and mercy, and for all the ways He's blessed us. My father used to say "rejoice in the Lord, always," and that's exactly what Psalms 98 is all about. We're told to sing a new song, to shout and make a joyful noise. We're told to break out the instruments, literally, and make the hills and mountains echo with our joyous praise. Not gonna happen, I tell you what, that God will judge the world with justice and equity. He will judge the nations with fairness, and He will show His righteousness. See here Jack, or uh, you know, no malarkey, that all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. All the people of the earth have seen His glory. We're not joking, excuse me, what was that? We're called to rejoice and be glad, to clap our hands and shout with joy. That's what Psalms 98 is all about, literally.
