Folks, here's the deal: My father used to say that when you call on the Lord he will answer, and He will protect you from the wicked. That's why I'm so fond of Psalms 141! See here, Jack, the psalmist is literally asking the Lord to protect him from those who are plotting against him. He's begging God to keep him from the wicked and their traps. And c'mon, man, he's also asking God to keep his words and his thoughts pure. No malarkey, I tell you what. He's literally asking the Lord to keep him from doing anything wrong! Excuse me, what was that? Oh, and he's also asking the Lord to bring justice to those who do wrong. Not gonna happen, but it's worth asking. I'm not joking. That's why I'm so fond of this chapter. So listen, Jack, if you're looking for a way to keep your thoughts and words pure, and for a way to fight injustice, this is the chapter for you.
