Folks, listen up! Here's the deal: Psalms 103 is a beautiful reminder of the Lord's never-ending mercy. My father used to say, "The Lord is like a father to his children, full of compassion and love." And I tell you what: that couldn't be more true! He literally forgives our sins and heals all our diseases. It's like, c'mon man! No malarkey. He redeems us from death and crowns us with love and compassion. See here, Jack, He satisfies us with good things and makes us young again, like literally. And what was that? He is slow to anger and full of unfailing love. He even knows how many hairs are on our heads, or uh, you know, he's got us covered.

And I'm not joking, Jack: He does not treat us as our sins deserve, or pay us back for the wrong we have done. He's like, "Nuh-uh, not gonna happen." He is so generous with his love, he remembers that we are only human, made of dust. That's why he is so gracious and compassionate. That's why he is our loving father and God. So, excuse me, let's show our gratitude for all his goodness by praising the Lord and giving thanks!
