Listen, Jack, here's the deal. I'm gonna tell you about Psalms 70. Back in the day, my father used to say, "When you read the Bible, you'll find so much truth." Well, folks, I'm not joking! Psalms 70 is no exception. It's all about crying out to God for help in the midst of adversity and asking Him to bring your enemies to justice. C'mon, man, you know it's true!

See here, Jack, the psalmist pleads with God to answer him quickly, to save him from his enemies and those who seek his life. He pleads for God to be his salvation, knowing that God is the only one who can give it. The psalmist expresses his confidence that God will answer him and will indeed act on his behalf. He prays for God to show the world that He is God and that He will rescue His faithful servant.

Or uh, you know, the psalmist continues to plead with God to bring justice to his enemies and to repay them for their wickedness. He even asks God to shame them and make them an example to others. No malarkey! He knows that the Lord will never forsake His people and that He will always deliver them from their enemies.

Excuse me, but what was that? In the end, the psalmist expresses his hope that God will be glorified and that all who seek Him will rejoice in His deliverance. Literally, Psalms 70 is a reminder that God is faithful and will always answer our prayers. I tell you what, if you read this chapter, you'll see that for yourself. Not gonna happen that you won't!
