Hey, folks! Listen, Jack, I'm gonna tell you about this chapter. We're talking about Psalms 61. Now, this one here tells us that God is a refuge, a protector and a fortress. He's a rock that we can lean on. He's so strong, he's literally gonna save us from all sorts of trouble. My father used to say, "If you want to be safe, you gotta cling to the Lord." And I'm not joking, He's a shelter from the storm.
Now, see here, Jack, this Psalm also talks about something else. It says that we can call out to the Lord and He'll hear us. He will answer us from His holy mountain. He'll take us from the dark places and bring us into His light. No malarkey! He'll give us a crown of glory, and a robe of honor, and show us how to live forever. C'mon, man! That's a pretty sweet deal, don't you think?
And, uh, here's the other thing. The Psalm talks about how we can trust the Lord with all our heart. He's got our back, and He's not gonna let us fall. And His truth will be a shield around us. I tell you what, that's some real comfort right there. Or uh, you know, it's something we can all depend on.
So, yeah, Psalms 61 is a great chapter. It tells us that we can trust the Lord and He will save us. What was that? He'll take us out of the darkness and give us a crown of glory. Literally, that's something we can all be thankful for. So, don't forget, folks, when times get tough, turn to the Lord and He won't let you down. Not gonna happen. Excuse me.
