Folks, here's the deal: this is some serious stuff, c'mon man! See here, Jack, Psalms 83 is all about enemies of the Lord and of the Lord's people. Now, this was written a long time ago, but it's still true today. The psalmist is asking God to deal with their enemies and to bring them down. No malarkey! He's asking God to scatter them, to confuse them, to make them like a tumbleweed in the wind. Then he's asking God to make them ashamed and terrified. My father used to say, "You can't get any more serious than that!" I'm not joking.

And then, before you know it, he's asking God to do it again, to bring them down and to humiliate them. Or uh, you know, to make them ashamed and frightened. What was that? To make them like ashes in the wind. Literally! I tell you what, God will not let these enemies get away with their wickedness—not gonna happen. Excuse me, but this is what the Lord of Heaven's Armies is all about.
