Peter: Alright, here we go. Psalms 94. Let's see. Uh oh, Lois, I think we got a bummer here.

Lois: What is it, Peter?

Peter: This one's about God's judgment on the wicked. You know, like when he smote the Philistines with a plague of locusts or gave them the finger and said, "Go with my blessing."

Lois: Oh, Peter, that's terrible!

Peter: Yeah, but at least it ends with a message of hope. It says that the Lord will deliver the righteous from all their troubles and give them "peaceful habitations and sure dwellings."

Lois: Well, that's a relief.

Peter: Yeah, but then it also says that "the Lord will not forsake his people, nor abandon his inheritance." So, I guess even when things look bleak, God's got our backs.

Lois: That's a nice thought.

Peter: Yeah, so if you ever feel like you need a reminder that God's got your back, just remember this Psalm. And, if you want a more uplifting message, just think of the time I got a slushee stuck in my ear. That's a much better story.
