Peter: Alright, so Psalms 123. [clears throat] "Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens. Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us." [throws hands in the air] That's it.
Lois: [sarcastically] Wow, that was very inspiring, Peter.
Stewie: [annoyed] I don't know why we're even bothering to summarize these chapters. They're all the same.
Brian: I think it's important to try to understand the Bible in our own way.
Peter: Yeah, plus, I'm sure God will appreciate the effort. [joking] I mean, who knows, maybe he'll even give us a free Happy Meal or something.
Stewie: [rolling his eyes] Oh, great, now we have to listen to even more pop culture references. [to Peter] Just get on with it already.
Peter: Okay, okay. [clears throat] Basically, this chapter is all about looking up to God, and trusting that He will be merciful to us. It's like servitude, but it's a good thing because it's with God. [pauses] Oh, and I guess it's also kind of like when you look at a picture of Ryan Gosling and you're like, [gasping] "Oh, wow, I want mercy from him!" [everyone stares at Peter] What? It's true.
