1-43

Peter: Alright, so this is Psalms 107. It starts off by saying "Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever."

Lois: Wow, that's really sweet.

Brian: Yeah, and then it goes on to say that those who were lost, he brought back, those who were hungry and thirsty, he filled with good things, and those who were weak and sick, he healed.

Stewie: Kinda like that movie "Patch Adams," but with God doing the healing.

Peter: Yeah, and then he's like, "Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind," and then there's a bunch of other stuff about how he's awesome and how he saves people and stuff.

Lois: Well, that's all very nice.

Brian: Yeah, and then it gets a little more specific. It talks about how he led the people out of Egypt, and then it goes on about how he led them through a pathless desert and gave them water from a rock.

Stewie: Like the scene in "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" but with God instead of Harrison Ford.

Peter: Yeah, and then it says that he let them settle in the land, and he fed them with the finest foods and made them prosperous.

Lois: That's really wonderful.

Brian: Yep, and then it goes on to talk about how he scattered the proud and how he brought down the wicked, and how he delivered the poor and the needy.

Stewie: Kinda like the plot of "Batman Begins," but with God instead of Christian Bale.

Peter: Yeah, and then it talks about how he answered the prayers of the suffering and how he blessed those who trusted in him.

Lois: That's beautiful.

Brian: Yeah, and then it ends with a reminder to give thanks to the Lord for his love and his wonderful deeds for mankind.

Stewie: Kinda like the ending of "The Lion King," but with God instead of Timon and Pumbaa.
