Peter: Alright, so Psalms 144 says, "Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle."
Lois: Wow, sounds pretty intense.
Peter: Yeah, it's like that old saying, "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em, and then beat 'em with a potato gun."
Brian: I don't think that's an old saying, Peter.
Peter: Well, it should be! Anyways, it goes on to say, "He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield, in whom I take refuge."
Stewie: Sounds like the Lord has your back, Peter.
Peter: Yeah, you can always count on the Lord to help you out in a pinch. Kinda like that time when I needed help getting out of jury duty, and I got the help I needed from that guy who was dressed up like a giant banana.
Lois: Peter, that was a hallucination.
Peter: Yeah, it was a pretty cool hallucination, though. Anyways, the Psalm ends with, "Happy is the people whose God is the Lord."
Brian: Well, that's true. I mean, it's always nice to have someone looking out for you.
Peter: Yeah, like when I'm at the convenience store and I'm about to buy the last ice cream sandwich and someone else tries to get it, I know the Lord will look out for me and make sure I get my precious ice cream sandwich.
