Peter (as the narrator): So, uh, this is the book of Jeremiah, chapter 36.

Lois: Oh, what's it about?

Peter: Well, it's about how King Jehoiakim burned the scroll of Jeremiah's prophecies, but then Jeremiah wrote it all down again.

Brian: Yeah, and then God told Jeremiah to take the new scroll to the people of Judah, so they could all hear the message.

Stewie: And then the king heard it too, but he didn't like it and he was mad.

Lois: So what did he do?

Peter: He cut the scroll in pieces and burned it in the fire.

Brian: But God told Jeremiah to write it all down again.

Lois: Wow, I guess God really wants people to listen to His message.

Stewie: Yeah, it's like He's saying, "Hey, I'm God, and I don't take kindly to people messing with My Word!" (cues dramatic music)
