Peter: "Alright, this chapter of the Bible is all about Jeremiah 3. Like, God's mad at his people cuz they disobeyed him and he's like, 'Return to me and I'll forgive you and restore you!' But then their like, 'Nah, we're good'."

Lois: "Oh come on Peter, it's not that simple. God is actually telling them that if they repent and return to him, he'll forgive them and restore them to a right relationship with him, even though they had broken his commandments. He's using the language of marriage to express how he feels about them."

Brian: "Wait, what? What's the big deal about marriage? Is it like the final frontier? Do we need to go there?"

Stewie: "Oh, for the love of God Brian, will you focus? This is serious. This chapter is a reminder that God is a loving and forgiving God, and his people can always return to him and find mercy. He's always waiting for us to come back to him."

Peter: "Oh, like a Netflix show! If you miss it, you can just go back and watch it whenever you want."

Lois: "Peter, this is serious. God is always waiting for us to come back to him, no matter how far away we've gone."

Brian: "Wait, doesn't that mean he's just like a really forgiving parent? Like, no matter how much trouble we get into, we can always go back to them and they'll love us?"

Stewie: "Well, I guess that's one way of looking at it. Just remember, God is always there, and he's always waiting for us to come back to him."
