Peter: Okay everyone, let's talk about Jeremiah 13. So, according to the Bible, God told Jeremiah to buy himself a linen belt and wear it around his waist. But then God told Jeremiah to go and hide the belt in a hole in the rocks.

Lois: Wow. That's kind of weird.

Brian: Yeah, it's like a reverse Indiana Jones.

Chris: Except with a belt instead of a boulder.

Stewie: Then God told Jeremiah to go back and fetch the belt, and when he did, the belt was ruined and had completely rotted away.

Peter: Right, and God told Jeremiah that this was meant to be a metaphor for how the people of Judah had disobeyed and rejected him.

Lois: Kind of like when you don't follow through on your New Year's resolutions.

Brian: Yeah, like when you said you were gonna go to the gym, but then never did.

Chris: Yeah, 'cause that belt thing was like God's resolution and he didn't follow through on it.

Stewie: I've got it! This is just like that episode of The Simpsons where Homer gets a tattoo, and then it gets ruined and he has to go get it fixed.
