Peter: Alright, so this is Jeremiah 11, and here's what happened. God spoke to Jeremiah and said, "Listen to the terms of the covenant I made with the people of Israel. And the people said, 'Amen, we agree!' But then they started worshiping foreign gods, so God said, 'You're gonna get what's comin' to ya!'

Lois: Oh, Peter, that's terrible.

Peter: Yeah, yeah, it is. So then God told Jeremiah to warn the people that they were going to be punished for their disobedience, but they still didn't listen.

Brian: Wow, that's pretty messed up.

Peter: Yeah, it is. So then God told Jeremiah to tell them that their towns were going to be attacked, their crops destroyed, and their homes burned.

Stewie: What a bummer.

Peter: Yeah, it is. And then God said that the people of Judah would be scattered among the nations and that they would never be able to return. Oh, and then there was this one part about how the people of Judah were conspiring against Jeremiah, so God was gonna punish them for that too.

Cleveland: Whoa, that's harsh.

Peter: Yeah, it is. So that's Jeremiah 11 in a nutshell. Oh, and one last thing: God said that if the people repented and returned to Him, He would forgive them and restore their land. So there's that.
