Alex Trebek: So, tell me a bit about yourself and why you're here!
Contestant: Well, I'm a huge fan of the Bible and I like to summarize each chapter. So I thought I'd start with Jeremiah 11.
Alex Trebek (irritated): What does this chapter say?
Contestant: Basically, it talks about how God made a promise to Israel that if they followed His laws and kept their covenant with Him, He would protect and bless them. But, unfortunately, the people of Israel didn't keep their promise and instead chose to worship other gods. So God warned the people of Israel that He would punish them for their disobedience if they didn't repent.
Alex Trebek (annoyed): That's great, but can you tell me something a bit more upbeat?
Contestant: Umm...well, Jeremiah 11 also talks about how God is a God of mercy and how He still had hope that the people of Israel would repent and turn back to Him. He promised them that if they did, He would forgive them and restore them. So, even though the people of Israel had disobeyed God, He still wanted them to be able to come back to Him.
