Alex Trebek: Alright, so tell me a little bit about yourself.

Contestant: Well, I'm a big fan of the Bible, so I can tell you a bit about Jeremiah 21.

Alex Trebek: [Sighs] Alright then, what does it say?

Contestant: This chapter starts off with a warning from God to the King of Judah, Zedekiah, to surrender to the Babylonians or face the consequences. Zedekiah refuses to listen, so God sends a message of judgment on Jerusalem and its people. He also warns of disaster coming to those who continue to rebel against him.

Alex Trebek: [Rolls eyes] Okay, so what else?

Contestant: Well, God then sends a message of hope to the people of Judah, promising them that if they repent and follow him, they will be restored and saved. He also promises protection against any foreign enemies who come to attack them.

Alex Trebek: [Groans] Anything else?

Contestant: Yes, God also warns the people of Judah to not trust in false prophets who may tell them that God has forgotten them or that things will turn out alright without them having to repent.

Alex Trebek: [Sighs] Alright, I think that's enough about the Bible for now. Let's move on to something else.
