Alex: So, tell me a little bit about yourself.

Contestant: Well, I've been studying the Bible lately, and I thought I'd share with you what I learned in Jeremiah 49.

Alex (sighing): Alright, go ahead.

Contestant: So, Jeremiah 49 talks about judgment for several nations, including Ammon, Edom, Damascus, and Kedar. These nations had rejected the Lord and acted wickedly, and so God was going to bring judgment upon them.

Alex (clearly not thrilled): Interesting. Anything else?

Contestant: Yes, God also promises that the people of Israel will be restored and will be able to return to their homeland. This is a sign of the Lord's faithfulness to His people.

Alex (trying to be polite): That's nice. Anything else?

Contestant: Well, there are also a few prophecies about the Babylonian captivity, as well as a warning to the people of Israel to not trust in foreign nations for protection.

Alex (desperately trying to change the subject): So, um, do you have any hobbies?
