Peter: Alright, so Jeremiah 19 is all about God punishing the people of Judah for their wickedness. He's gonna do this by destroying their city of Jerusalem, and He's gonna do it through a foreign nation.

Stewie: Oh, great. Another episode of Family Guy that's gonna end with me being disappointed.

Brian: So God tells Jeremiah to buy a clay jar and then break it in the Valley of Ben Hinnom, to symbolize what will happen to the people of Jerusalem.

Lois: Wow, that's a harsh punishment.

Peter: Yah, but wait, it gets worse! God then says that the people of Judah will sacrifice their own children to false gods, and they'll do it by burning them in the Valley of Ben Hinnom.

Stewie: Oh come on, Family Guy, really?!

Brian: And then God says that the city of Jerusalem and Judah will become an example to all other nations of what happens when they disobey Him.

Lois: Yikes, that's pretty intense.

Peter: Yeah, but God also says that He will restore Judah and Jerusalem in the future and that He will forgive their sins. So, there's a silver lining, I guess.

Stewie: Yeah, I suppose so, but this episode was still a real letdown.
