Well, folks, it's time to check in on Jeremiah 19. It's pretty much the same old stuff - God is mad at the people of Judah, and he's super-pissed about their idol worshiping and other bad behavior. So, as punishment, he's gonna send them into exile. Oh, and also, to really drive home the point, he's gonna have Jeremiah smash a clay jar, symbolizing the destruction of Jerusalem. Which, yeah, kinda sucks for them. Now, if you think this is the end of the chapter, you'd be wrong - God also goes into detail about some pretty gruesome sacrifices, including the sacrifice of a child in the Valley of Ben Hinnom. Yeesh. So, all in all, it's your typical Jeremiah chapter - pretty dark stuff.
