Norm MacDonald here with the summary of Jeremiah 2. God explains that the people of Israel had forsaken Him, and were instead worshiping idols and foreign gods. He asks why they had done this, and why they had traded their glorious God for something else. He accuses them of being a wild donkey, running off in search of pleasure and not coming back. God says that even if they tried to wash themselves off, their sins would still be visible. He then tells them to stop their foolishness and come back to Him. He promises to forgive them if they do, and to give them a new heart and a new spirit. In the end, God promises to take them back and make them His people. That's the summary of Jeremiah 2, folks. See you next time.
