Batman: Something is amiss in Jerusalem, Robin. Jeremiah 2 tells us of God's anger with his people for their unfaithfulness.

Robin: That's terrible, Batman! What did the people do?

Batman: They abandoned God, Robin. They traded their love for God for false idols, and changed their glory for what does not profit.

Catwoman: Don't forget, Batman, that they also had no shame. This is why God was so angry with them.

Batman: You're right, Catwoman. In addition to forsaking God, they refused to acknowledge their guilt.

Joker: Well, what did God do? I'm sure it was something juicy!

Batman: God punished them for their lack of faith, Joker. He removed his protection from them and allowed them to be consumed by their enemies.

Robin: That's awful, Batman! What did God say?

Batman: He asked why they had gone so far away from Him, and why they were so stubborn in their evil ways. God called on them to repent and return to Him, but the people refused.

Riddler: That's a sad ending! What can we learn from this, Batman?

Batman: We can learn that God is always faithful, even when we are not. We must remain faithful and loyal to Him, or else suffer the consequences.
