Batman: Robin, something strange is afoot.

Robin: What is it, Batman?

Batman: According to Jeremiah 52, the city of Jerusalem was besieged by the Babylonian army and taken captive.

Catwoman: Oh, that's no good.

Batman: No, it isn't. All of its cities were destroyed, and its people were taken away.

Riddler: What happened to them?

Batman: Many of them were killed, and the rest were taken as prisoners to Babylon.

Penguin: How awful!

Robin: But there is a glimmer of hope.

Batman: Yes, there is. After 70 years of captivity, some of the exiles were allowed to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the city.

Catwoman: That is a happy ending!

Batman: Indeed it is.
