Listen, Jack, here's the deal. My father used to say that Jeremiah 52 is all about the fall of Jerusalem. It was a sad day for the folks living there. See here, Jack, the Chaldeans destroyed the city, and King Zedekiah was taken into captivity. No malarkey! I'm not joking--the people were literally taken away and the city was left in ruins. I tell you what, folks, it was a real tragedy. Excuse me, what was that? Oh, right, so uh, you know, the temple was plundered and the bronze pillars and everything else--it was all gone. C'mon, man! It was a real mess. And the walls of Jerusalem--they were literally torn down. Not gonna happen again, folks. Not in a million years. I'm telling you, it was a real tragedy.
