Listen, Jack, my old man used to tell me, "C'mon, man! You can do anything you set your mind to!" And, I tell you what, there was no malarkey when Jeremiah was given a message from the Lord. See here, Jack, the Lord said to Jeremiah, "I'm not joking, I'm gonna give you the land of Benjamin as an inheritance." He told Jeremiah to buy the land, even though the city of Jerusalem was under siege. I mean, excuse me, literally, the Babylonians were coming, but the Lord was like, "Not gonna happen! Buy the land, Jeremiah." Here's the deal, folks: it was a sign of hope that the Lord would restore his people and that they would be able to return to the land. So, Jeremiah bought the land, and what was that? He got a deed and witnesses to prove it! We don't know if it was a good investment, but, you know, you gotta have faith!
