Folks, here's the deal. See here, Jack: back in the day, we had this war with the Egyptians. I'm not joking. My father used to say, "If you want to know what happened in the past, look no further than the book of Jeremiah." No malarkey! So, according to the book, the Lord said, "Prepare for battle, for I will make you fight against the Egyptians. You will see great destruction, and many will fall in battle. C'mon, man!" Then, the Lord said, "I will send a great army from the land of the north to attack the Egyptians. They will come with chariots, horses, and many soldiers. I tell you what, they will be like a mighty storm that cannot be stopped." Excuse me, but literally, the Lord promised to destroy the Egyptians and no one would be able to save them. What was that? Not gonna happen. Anyway, the Lord promised to make Egypt a desolate wasteland, and that's exactly what He did. Or uh, you know, He did it and it was a wrap.
